Jessica + Kevin

Albany State Room Wedding
Jessica and Kevin were actually married in a beautiful ceremony at The Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God church prior to their amazing reception at The Albany State Room. They chose Funk Evolution as their band and what a great show they put on! Although the rain threatened most of the day, we still had time to run out for some wedding party photos around the capitol building and Rockefeller Center. Tom, the owner of The State Room graciously chauffeured the bride and groom to various photos locations in his beautiful, black vintage Cadillac.
The Albany State Room
Located on historic State Street, The State Room is the perfect illustration of historic beginnings serving a modern purpose. This hall of fame award-winning venue, also Albany’s first skyscraper, was originally constructed in 1901 to serve as Albany’s City & County Savings Bank. The State Room embodies the architecture and splendor of the early twentieth century. Featuring hand painted vaulted ceilings, marble walls, grand bay windows and gold embossed Corinthian Columns.
The Albany State Room is the perfect venue for those couples looking for a lavish setting with some amazing architecture inside and nearby for those "wow" wedding photographs.
